On August 4, China’s transportation, post, immigration and other departments spoke on the same stage to introduce the situation of further strengthening the prevention and control of the epidemic.

　　[Explanation] According to statistics, as of 9 a.m. on August 4, 17 provinces in China have reported existing local confirmed cases or asymptomatic infections, and there are 144 areas with medium and high risk, the most since the normalization of the epidemic prevention and control.

In order to prevent the spread of the epidemic through transportation sites and vehicles, the Ministry of Transport requires strict implementation of passenger transportation control.

For Chinese citizens who participate in international epidemic prevention and anti-epidemic and who need to enter and exit due to the resumption of work and production of enterprises, they will promptly accept approval or provide urgent certification services, actively support global epidemic prevention and anti-epidemic, and help economic recovery.
