As Söder noted, Vovan (Vladimir Kuznetsov) and Lexus (Alexei Stolyarov) are well-known Russian pranksters who are "accused of acting at the behest of Vladimir Putin."

According to the Swedish parliamentarian, the content of the pranksters' conversations with their interlocutors is often "taken out of context" or in some other way "misinterpreted on Russian television."

This is being done, according to the deputy, in order "to expose Moscow's geopolitical opponents in an unfavorable light."

“The fact that the Minister of Foreign Affairs allowed herself to be deceived by two Russian trolls and to allow Russian propaganda to take advantage of this, of course, is not good,” Söder said.

At the same time, he quoted the press service of the Swedish Foreign Ministry, whose representatives had previously told the newspaper Expressen that the Foreign Ministry "follows certain standard procedures and they have been followed, but unfortunately they were not enough in this case."

In this regard, Söder turned to Linda with the question of what measures the minister intends to take so that such incidents no longer recur, and the Foreign Ministry's procedures have a "sufficient degree of reliability."

Earlier it was reported that Vovan and Lexus played Ann Linde on behalf of Alexei Navalny's wife Yulia and his colleague Leonid Volkov.

The prankers talked to Linde for over 10 minutes.

During the conversation, the parties discussed issues related to the Nord Stream 2 project, as well as Sweden's “support” for Russian civil society and human rights defenders.

In particular, they talked about the allocation of up to € 38 million by Stockholm for these purposes within five years.
