05 August 2021 The memorandum of understanding was signed today which will guarantee the administration of rapid antigen tests - valid for the issue of digital certification at a controlled price - by the participating pharmacies. The agreement was prepared by the Extraordinary Commissioner Francesco Paolo Figliuolo in agreement with the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza and the presidents of Federfarma, ASSO.FARM. and FarmacieUnite.



The document provides that at the pharmacies participating in the memorandum of understanding the price of the test in favor of minors between the ages of 12 and 18 will be equal to 8 euros, while for those over 18 this price is set at 15 euros. In particular, for the tests carried out in favor of minors between 12 and 18 years, the participating pharmacies will receive a contribution from the Public Administration equal to 7 Euros.



The overall remuneration for the pharmacies will be equal to 15 Euros, of which 8 to be paid by the user and 7 as a share of the public contribution. for the procurement of rapid antigen tests, consumables, logistics costs and any other accessory charges.



The reservations, the management of appointments and the execution of tests will be carried out independently by the pharmacies, with priority being given to the age group 12-18 years. The protocol will be valid until 30 September 2021 and the list of participating pharmacies will be published on the institutional website of the Extraordinary Commissioner for the Covid-19 emergency.
