After rocket fire from Lebanon, Israeli fighter pilots attacked targets in the south of the neighboring country.

As the army announced on Thursday, the places from which the rockets were fired, as well as "targets used for terrorism" were shelled.

Lebanon was responsible for all actions that emanated from its territory, it said.

At the same time, the army warned against further attempts to harm Israel and its civilian population.

Three rockets were fired in Lebanon on Wednesday.

Two of them fell in Israel and one in Lebanon, according to an army statement.

The army responded with artillery fire.

According to information from Lebanese security circles, six Israeli shells initially hit Lebanon.

There were no reports of injuries on either side.

Israel and Lebanon are officially at war.

There are always tensions at the border.

Above all, the Lebanese Shiite militia Hezbollah, which is closely allied with Iran, sees Israel as an archenemy.
