Al Jalila Foundation, one of the organizations under the umbrella of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, announced that it has received a donation of 30 million dirhams from the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, in support of the establishment of the Hamdan bin Rashid Charitable Hospital for Cancer Patients, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, last April, in memory of the late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to provide free medical and treatment care to cancer patients who are unable in the UAE, as the first charitable hospital of its kind at the level of The United Arab Emirates specializes in providing medical and curative care for cancer patients from needy families.
