- As for actually discriminatory rules, there are not many left, but on the other hand when it comes to the application of different rules and treatment by different authorities, it looks different, says Silas Aliki at Folkets juristbyrå, who focused specifically on issues concerning LGBTQI -people.

Silas Aliki believes that even if the rules and legislation have changed, the treatment of LGBTQI people differs in practice - compared to the rest of society. 

Why do you think it looks like this? 

- It has to do with the fact that homophobia and transphobia is still a huge problem.
