According to Jimmy Kavenstrand, it can sometimes be difficult to clarify who the actual owner is, when the police find stolen goods.
If things are unmarked and unregistered, the situation can become problematic.
- In a couple of cases, unfortunately, the police and prosecutors have to return stolen goods to a thief.
Which feels incredibly unfortunate, he says.
