The Long March 6 launch vehicle is a cryogenic liquid three-stage launch vehicle developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It has the characteristics of a new liquid oxygen kerosene power system, high reliability, high safety, low cost, and short-period launch. Types and different orbits require the capabilities of satellites, which can be launched with a single or multiple satellites.

Its sun-synchronous circular orbit has a carrying capacity of up to 1.0 tons (orbital height of 700 kilometers) and a launch reliability of up to 0.98, reaching the international advanced level.

This mission is the third orbital mission performed by the Long March-6 launch vehicle following the typical sun-synchronous orbit and low-inclination orbit of the previous six missions.

This is the second flight test carried out by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation in seven days after the successful launch of Changer Ding on July 29. It is also the first continuous launch mission of the Long March 6 carrier rocket.
