“In connection with today's road accident of a truck and a city bus, the head of the security and traffic control service of the State Unitary Enterprise“ Mosgortrans ”has been removed from the performance of official duties,” the department said.
The department called the condition of all victims stable, saying that they were being provided with the necessary medical care.
The department also said that Mosgortrans will provide victims with "all the necessary assistance, including in the registration of insurance payments."
Earlier, as a result of a collision of a regular bus and a truck on the Borovskoye highway in Moscow, 11 people were injured, seven of them were taken to hospitals.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs opened a criminal case, the bus driver was detained.
