Covid-19 in France: faced with the influx of patients, the white plan activated in Corsica and Paca

In France after Corsica, it was in the Paca region, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur that the white plan was activated, that is to say in a large south-eastern quarter of the country.
This health crisis device, triggered in this case by the regional agencies will allow the healthcare establishments of these two territories to better manage the influx of patients affected by the Covid-19, because these are two regions where the figures fly away.

In one week, the number of hospitalizations for Covid-19 in the Paca region has increased by 56%.
The incidence rate, or the number of positive tests per 100,000 inhabitants, rose from just over 400 at the end of July, to 562 today.
In Corsica, this rate even reaches 830 per 100,000 in the north of the island.
Among the explanations for this explosion of cases, there is the influx of tourists in these two popular regions in summer.
Last weekend, 130,000 holidaymakers met in Corsica, between departures and arrivals.

The south-east of France receives 30 million visitors per year, a good part of which is in July / August.
This increase in population generally creates tensions in hospitals.
The resumption of the epidemic is therefore added.
In Marseille, this Wednesday, the 32 Covid patients in intensive care occupied the last beds available in university hospitals.
Hence the activation of the white plan.
It will allow health establishments to deprogram non-urgent operations, even if these are always fewer in August.
And to recall caregivers on leave.
Only volunteer agents can be solicited.
After more than a year and a half of health crisis, they may be more difficult to find.
