Increase in overtime by 50% and exceptional compensation for paid leave not taken: the government announced on Tuesday "the reactivation of several levers of mobilization and support for caregivers in the face of the epidemic rebound".
Three national devices, already used in previous waves, have been effective again since Monday, the Ministry of Health said in a press release.
In detail, this concerns the return of the increase in overtime of 50% (on decision of the ARS), the increase in additional working time for hospital practitioners and on-call duty for university hospital staff, as well as exceptional compensation for paid leave not taken for service reasons.
"The situation is the subject of constant vigilance by all actors, in particular during this summer period which is usually a period of tension for the permanence and continuity of care", detailed the ministry.
Faced with an outbreak of the Delta variant, the number of patients hospitalized with Covid-19 continues to climb, including in intensive care services, according to figures released Tuesday by Public Health France.
