A man, shot and wounded in Paris on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, died of his injuries, AFP learned from a police source.
The victim was shot in the abdomen in a street in the 19th arrondissement in the north-east of the capital, before dying during his transfer to hospital.
The young man was known to the police and justice, according to sources familiar with the matter.
An investigation for “intentional homicide” has been opened and entrusted to the second district of the Paris judicial police (DPJ), the Paris prosecutor's office told AFP.
