The first victim said that he was present with his friend, the second victim, in the parking lots of a commercial center in Bur Dubai, when the accused came to them, and claimed that he was from the investigations, speaking with them in English, which they do not speak well.

He added that the accused surprised his friend with a sudden slap, then turned to him and slapped him, which caused fear in both of them, and when he asked them to show the identity card, he quickly took out his wallet to present the identity to him, but he pulled the wallet from his hand forcefully and fled.

The victim added that the accused's assault on them confused them, pointing out that his wallet contained an amount of 1500 dirhams, in addition to a number of personal cards.

Dubai Police were able to determine the identity of the accused after conducting the required investigations, and he admitted the charges, as the two victims recognized him in the diagnosis queue.

The Public Prosecution charged him with the felony of impersonating a public office, in addition to coercive theft, and assaulting the integrity of the body of others. The Criminal Court convicted him and sentenced him to imprisonment and a fine for the stolen amount.
