Earlier it became known that the European Commission recognized the certificates of vaccination against coronavirus valid in the EU, which are issued in San Marino, where the Russian Sputnik V vaccine against COVID-19 is used.

In May, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) announced that a campaign to vaccinate the population with a Russian drug helped San Marino become the first state in Europe to defeat COVID-19.
