According to the verdict, Sobol was found guilty of incitement to violate sanitary standards (Article 236 of the Criminal Code), namely, calls to go to an unauthorized meeting.

The Preobrazhensky Court of Moscow sentenced her to 1.5 years of restriction of freedom. 

“Restriction of freedom means that the convicted woman is prohibited from leaving her home from 10 pm to 6 am, to participate in rallies.

She also needs to report to the police four times a month, ”Nikitin explained. 

Sobol's verdict was the first in a series of similar cases of violation of sanitary standards during rallies on January 23 in Moscow.

Nine more people were in the dock: FBK employees Oleg Stepanov, Nikolai Lyaskin and Kira Yarmysh, as well as Navalny's brother Oleg, head of the Alliance of Doctors trade union ** Anastasia Vasilyeva, member of the Pussy Riot group Maria Alyokhina, Moscow municipal deputies Konstantin Yankauskas, Lyusya Stein and Dmitry Baranovsky. 

Earlier, the Perovsky Court of Moscow upheld Sobol's guilty verdict of illegal entry into a home.
