The government has decided to send an oxygen concentrator to support the medical system in Thailand and Laos, where infection with the new coronavirus is spreading rapidly.

This was revealed by Foreign Minister Mogi at a press conference after the Cabinet meeting on the 3rd.



According to the report, it will send necessary medical equipment to Thailand and Laos, where the infection of the new coronavirus is rapidly spreading, to support the local medical system.



Of these, 775 oxygen concentrators will be sent to Thailand, and 100 oxygen concentrators and about 600,000 vaccines will be provided to Laos.



At the press conference, Foreign Minister Mogi said, "Japan wants to strategically provide the necessary support to countries with high needs for medical devices and vaccines."



The government has sent oxygen concentrators to India and Indonesia, and has also provided vaccines to Malaysia and other countries free of charge.
