The public prosecutor of Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) opened at the end of last week a judicial investigation against X, in particular for the counts of rape and sexual assault, reports this Tuesday

A young man has been charged with aggravated extortion and remanded in custody as part of the investigation.
He is suspected of having participated in the assault of a woman in her forties on the night of July 25 to 26.
She had gone to the Mirail district in Toulouse to get supplies of narcotics.
A gang then allegedly forced her to repay a debt contracted by a relative, and after forcing her to withdraw several hundred euros from a distributor, she was coerced into sex by some of her attackers.
The victim went to file a complaint the next day.
The investigation continues to find the other attackers.
