  Fujian Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security disclosed the above news to reporters on the 3rd.

The relevant person in charge said that this move not only deepens the talent exchanges and cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan, and creates the first homeland for Taiwan compatriots to land, but also helps Taiwan compatriots to find employment and entrepreneurship in Fujian.

  In recent years, Fujian has implemented the talent cultivation project in Fujian and Taiwan, accelerated the pace of “direct recognition” of Taiwan’s talents’ academic qualifications, professional titles, vocational qualifications, and academic achievements, carried out the evaluation of skilled talents for Taiwan compatriots, and improved the talent policy service system in Fujian and Taiwan; Two special talent zones have been established in Tan, 34 Taiwan youth entrepreneurship bases have been established, and 561 enterprises and institutions have now settled in.

  In July of this year, the Fujian Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security issued the "Notice on Carrying out Vocational Skill Level Certification for Compatriots in Taiwan" to actively explore new paths for cross-strait integration and development, and facilitate cross-strait exchanges of skilled talents.

  According to the Fujian Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, Taiwan compatriots who meet the requirements for vocational skill level certification can apply for evaluation to the various vocational skill level evaluation agencies announced by the human resources and social departments of the province. After the evaluation is passed, the corresponding evaluation agency will Issue vocational skill level certificates.

Evaluation agencies can directly adopt Taiwanese vocational skills qualifications for 20 occupations such as lathes, milling machines, and beauty, and issue corresponding vocational skills level certificates in accordance with the "Fujian Province Directly Adopted Taiwanese Vocational Skills Qualification Catalog".

  Fujian has also continued to promote the implementation and innovation of the Hui-Taiwan policy to increase its attractiveness to Taiwan’s young talents.

The newly promulgated "Fujian Province High-level Talent Identification and Support Measures (Trial)" in 2020 specifically clarifies the support policies for Taiwan's high-level talents.

Up to now, 594 Taiwanese talents have been confirmed as high-level talents introduced by Fujian Province.

  In addition, Fujian organized cross-strait talent exchanges and cooperation conferences, cross-strait talent integration and development on the cloud matchmaking, and actively built a cross-strait talent exchange platform to attract Taiwanese talents to come to Fujian for innovation and entrepreneurship.
