The semi-finalist knows at least a bronze medal in boxing.

Potkonen won the match with a scattered verdict 3–2.

The contract was hampered by a warning received by a Finn in the third installment.

The Nokia boxer made history, as she is the first Finnish woman to win a medal in two consecutive Summer Olympics.

In the semi-finals, Potkonen will face Brazilian Beatriz Ferreira.

The match is scheduled for Thursday at 8.15.
