A man shot dead in the street in Pointe-à-Pitre

A man in his thirties was shot dead in Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) on Sunday August 1.

, the police were called for the first time on the spot for shots.

An altercation with a family?

"Everything starts from a verbal altercation for which we do not yet know the reasons," he told our colleagues.

A group of alcoholic young people allegedly took to task a family after spending an evening on a boat, a witness told the regional daily.

A suspect was quickly arrested and taken into custody in the premises of the judicial police.
