The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for his words that the peninsula "will never be Russian territory" and that its return to Ukraine is supposedly "a matter of time."

“Crimeans have felt the“ love ”of official Kiev, which is expressed in blockades, constant threats, attempts at sabotage and terrorist attacks, in the streams of lies and slander that Ukrainian politicians are pouring both inside their country and on international platforms.

People have long been sick of this "love", - wrote Aksyonov on his page in the social network "VKontakte".

In his opinion, Zelensky's statements are a "pitiful sight", and the former artist himself "finally degraded", but "never became a politician."

“Unfortunately, Zelensky became an accomplice in crimes against the people of Ukraine, for which he will have to answer.

This is what he should think about instead of talking nonsense.

And yes - send someone to Zelensky Crimean rapans.

Sometimes chewing is better than talking, ”the head of Crimea stressed.

Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky in an interview with the TV channel "Dom" called Crimea "his land", stressing that this territory allegedly "will never be Russian."

He also expressed the opinion that Russians "will never love Crimea as much" as Ukrainians.

Note that the President of Ukraine answered the questions of the journalist in Russian.

Crimea is a primordially Russian land, which was annexed to the Russian Empire and was developed by it, and the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky should "look more often in history books."

This was stated in an interview with RT by the first deputy head of the international committee of the Federation Council, Vladimir Dzhabarov, commenting on the words of the Ukrainian leader that Crimea "will never be Russian territory."

The senator stressed that the Crimean peninsula was transferred to Ukraine by a "voluntarist decision", but this does not mean that it has become Ukrainian.

In addition, in 2014, the Crimean population in a referendum clearly expressed a desire to return to Russia.

“How they (the authorities of Ukraine. -

) loved Crimea, I personally saw, I visited Crimea after the collapse of the Soviet Union: in 1996, in 2002.

Complete desolation, terrible, broken roads ... Ukraine did not invest anything in the development of Crimea.

For the people of Crimea, these were years of devastation, collapse, ”said Dzhabarov.

According to him, "as Russia loves Crimea, in fact, no one can love."

He also urged Zelensky not to "rock" this topic.

“Let them ask the Crimean population at least once if they want to return to Ukraine.

I think that even in a nightmare, they will not give such consent.

We must treat such statements as purely populist, ”concluded a member of the Federation Council.

In turn, Senator from Crimea Olga Kovitidi called on the Ukrainian authorities to look for ways out of the crisis in which the country finds itself.

“Kiev, which does not have the funds to carry out its“ Crimean Platform ”, ignoring the political will of the Crimeans, should understand that it is necessary to find a way out of the deepest economic crisis in which the state finds itself, including after the breakdown of economically beneficial bilateral relations, and not to remember about the lucrative peninsula, "she explained in an interview with RT.

The start of the Ukrainian summit "Crimean Platform" is scheduled for August 23.

As Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated, the goal of this international platform is “to find and further implement a set of measures to de-occupy the peninsula and protect the rights of Crimeans”.

The day before, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba said that four thematic panels will be organized at the forum: "Non-recognition of the attempt to annex Crimea", "Militarization of the Azov-Black Sea region", "Ways of reintegration of Crimea through human rights and sustainable development" and "Restoration of the rights of the people ".

At the same time, on August 3, the country's first deputy foreign minister, Emine Dzhaparova, announced that Kiev would not be able to hold the forum annually due to lack of funds for such a large-scale event, so the Ukrainian side would think about where to “park” the Crimean Platform.

Despite the fact that less than a month is left before the start of the forum, the full list of its participants is still unknown.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry expects representatives of 28 states and international organizations, but the list of specific delegations has not been announced.

At the same time, Kiev's attempts to invite US President and Vice President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were unsuccessful - Washington intends to send Transport Minister Peter Buttidzic to Ukraine, and French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian is expected to participate.

Crimea became part of Russia as a result of a referendum held in March 2014 - most of the inhabitants of the peninsula spoke in favor of reunification with Russia.

At the same time, Russian officials have repeatedly noted that the issue of Crimea is closed: it is a constituent entity of the Russian Federation.

“The fate and future of Crimea is forever with Russia, whether someone likes it or not.

None of the actions of Western states led by the United States can change this reality - neither from the international legal, nor from the political, nor from the moral point of view, "said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the Crimea 24 TV channel.
