Eight people have been killed and hundreds have been injured since large-scale production continued for six days in Turkey. The European Union and neighboring countries have dispatched firefighting aircraft to Turkey to aid in fighting wildfires.

port city of Marmaris is a famous holiday destination in Turkey.



Red flames covered the entire mountain, and thick smoke made it difficult to see the sky even in broad daylight.



A large-scale forest fire continued for six days, and the smoke that covered the coast was captured by satellite images.



The Turkish government said 125 of the 132 fires were successfully extinguished and that firefighting operations were continuing in seven others.



Eight people have been confirmed dead and hundreds of others injured.



It is expected to be recorded as the worst fire in Turkey in the last 10 years.



Turkish President Erdogan has also hinted at the possibility of arson by Kurdish militants in connection with the cause of the fire.

European Union has dispatched firefighting aircraft to aid in fighting the fires in Turkey, and Russia and neighboring countries such as Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Iran are also joining forces in the fight.
