TASS informs about this with reference to the press service of the Central Military District (CVD).

It is noted that the deputy chief of staff of the Central Military District, Major General Nikolai Tereshchenko and the deputy head of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan for combat training, Colonel Kadyr Tursunov, wished the servicemen successful cooperation during the performance of combat training tasks.

They also expressed confidence that the joint exercise will further strengthen bilateral Russian-Uzbek cooperation.

Earlier, the press service of the Central Military District reported that Russia has increased the number of its military contingent in joint trilateral exercises, which will be held from 5 to 10 August in Tajikistan at the Harbmaidon training ground, 20 km from the border with Afghanistan.
