Putin expelled the acting head of North Ossetia from the Russian Security Council

The corresponding decree of the head of state was published on the official portal of legal information.

"To introduce into the composition of the Security Council of the Russian Federation ... a change, excluding SI Menyailo from it," the document says.

The decree comes into force from the date of its signing, August 2.

Menyailo has been acting head of North Ossetia since April 2021.
