The emergency regime was introduced due to the rapid spread of a forest fire on Mount Shargan.

Initially, the fire was localized, but due to strong gusts of wind and high temperature, the fire flared up again, about 100 hectares of forest are burning.

The fire burns near the famous ethnic village Drvengrad, directed by Emir Kusturica.

According to TASS, he himself participated in the elimination of the elements.

The EMERCOM of Russia previously reported a decrease in the number of wildfires in the country.

During the week, rescuers carried out more than 220 flushes, more than 700 tons of water were dumped on the burning areas.
