- Now we are in day nine, but the day is not over yet, states the police spokesperson Ewa-Gun Westford.

Over 100 registrations

The police have 117 reports of stone-throwing on E65.

According to Westford, more than 90 percent are Danish-registered cars, many on their way to or from the Bornholm ferry.

- That is why we can say that it is not a stone's throw, but we take this very seriously, she says.

Lost vision

The worst affected is a man who lost sight in one eye after stones were thrown through the windshield.

The events have received a great deal of attention in Denmark.

Money is collected as a reward for those who provide crucial tips so that perpetrators are arrested.

- I think we are up to at least 30,000 now, says Ewa-Gun Westford.
