Children and adolescents from the age of twelve should be able to be vaccinated against the coronavirus even faster in the future.

This emerges from the resolution of the federal and state health ministers' conference.

In future, all countries want to offer 12 to 17 year-olds corresponding offers in vaccination centers and through general practitioners.

So far, a good 20 percent of this age group have been vaccinated, and almost ten percent are fully vaccinated.

"We have enough vaccine for all age groups," said Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn on Monday.

"That is why it is good that the federal states want to offer this age group as low a threshold as possible."
