In the Murmansk region on August 1, the program "Arctic hectare" starts.

On August 22, a law will come into force that cancels the mandatory technical inspection of a vehicle in order to obtain a policy of compulsory motor third party liability insurance.

From this date, the driver does not need to provide a diagnostic card and confirm the passage of a technical inspection in order to obtain an MTPL policy.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia considers it possible to work out measures to stimulate the owners of these categories of vehicles to voluntarily undergo the technical inspection procedure," said the head of the traffic police Mikhail Chernikov.

In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs sent a proposal to the government to abolish the mandatory technical inspection for cars and motorcycles owned by individuals.

Tightening regulation of mortgage issuance

From August 1, the Bank of Russia will tighten the regulation of mortgage issuance by introducing increased premiums to the risk ratios for new mortgage loans with a down payment of 15-20% of the cost of housing.

The new values ​​of the premiums to bank risk ratios will be 50 - 100 percentage points.

The decision to increase premiums to risk ratios on mortgages was caused by the fact that in the market of new buildings, banks increased the share of loans with a down payment of less than 20% from 24% in the 2nd quarter of 2020 to 45% in the 1st quarter of 2021, which is partly due to the loyal state programs.

In the secondary market, this figure increased by 3%.

The innovation is intended to make credit institutions less willing to issue mortgages with a low down payment, and will also allow "to ensure the banks' resilience to potential stress scenarios."

Renewal and expansion of air traffic

From August 9, Russia intends to resume flights with the Dominican Republic (3 flights per week), Moldova (3 flights per week) and Bahrain (2 flights per week).

The frequency of flights with Egyptian resorts will be increased.
