Washington DC, which is classified as an area with a significant spread of infection, also announced that everyone must wear a mask indoors from last weekend.
As the delta mutation spreads rapidly, on the 30th of last month, the number of daily infections in the United States reached 194,000.

New York Times reported that at least 233 people have been confirmed at the Zuckerberg General Hospital in San Francisco and the University of California San Francisco Medical Center, and most of them were investigated as breakthrough infections even after receiving the vaccine.
However, the condition of the breakthrough infected was good enough that only two people were hospitalized.
As fears of the delta mutation spread, vaccination rates have increased by 26% compared to three weeks ago.
The CDC reported in an investigational report that the delta mutation is as contagious as chickenpox, and that vaccinated people with the delta mutation transmit similar amounts of the virus to those without the vaccine.
