"The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs orders Soma to return to Korea"

The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has ordered Hirohisa Soma, the Japanese embassy general general, to return to Korea as of today (1st), the Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported.

Nikkei said, “In the case of the KTO, who worked at the Japanese Embassy in Korea, the personnel change was almost every two years,” he added.

Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga has commented on Soma's use of sexual language to demean President Moon and South Korean diplomacy, calling it "extremely inappropriate remarks as a diplomat and regrettable".
