As Kovitidi emphasized, xenophobia and Nazism, "poisonously flourished in Ukraine", are a source of serious problems for the whole of Europe.

“It is no coincidence that European parliamentarians, including Natalie Gulet, Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Constitution and Legislation of the French Senate, call on the European community to pay attention and toughly respond to the increased activity of neo-Nazi forces in Ukraine.

Everything new is well forgotten old, ”the senator noted.

The parliamentarian added that neo-Nazism in the center of Europe, supported by the leaders of the European powers, will cost her dearly.

“The memory of millions of human lives, brutally cut short by the criminal fascist regime during the Second World War, obliges each of us to stop this“ brown plague ”, no matter how false slogans they hide behind,” she concluded.

Earlier, Zakharova called the conclusions of the French Foreign Ministry about neo-Nazi groups in Ukraine absurd.

The Russian diplomat stressed that "everyone has known about the Azov battalion for a long time."
