July 31, 2021 The Turin review court accepted the request for release from Alessio Spaziano, the young truck driver from Caserta who on June 18 overwhelmed and killed the Si Cobas trade unionist Adil Belakhdim, during a demonstration in front of the warehouse gates Lidl di Biandrate, in the Novara area.

For the truck driver, house arrest was lifted and the precautionary measure of the obligation to stay in Campania was ordered. 

Spaziano was arrested on June 18 after a brief escape. After the investment, the 25-year-old lorry driver drove the lorry away, stopping after a few kilometers at the Novara Ovest exit of the Turin-Milan motorway.
