The 112 Emergency services of the Community of Madrid are working to extinguish a forest fire declared this afternoon in the vicinity
of the San Juan reservoir
, in the municipality of San Martín de la Vega.
The fire originated in the area of
Playa de los Nudistas
and the wind is causing it to spread "rapidly", as required by the regional government.
At the moment the causes of the accident are unknown.
Several teams of Firefighters, Forest Brigades and Forest Agents from the Community of Madrid, as well as members of the Civil Guard, have traveled to the area.
