According to Interfax, Novak indicated that Moscow sees prospects for strengthening cooperation with Turkey in the field of pharmaceuticals.

The Deputy Prime Minister also noted the need to return to the creation in the republic of the production of immunobiological preparations using Russian technologies.

Last week, Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev announced Uzbekistan's intentions to launch the production of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine.

In June, Serbian leader Aleksandar Vucic thanked Russia for helping to launch production of Sputnik V in Serbia.
