Tourists from Russia are asked to be prepared for a possible evacuation due to fires in Turkey

This is stated in the official statement of the diplomatic service posted on Facebook.

According to the Russian consulate, the fire hazard for hotels in Marmaris has passed, and most hotels continue to operate normally.

“We urge our compatriots in the fire-hazardous regions of Turkey to be extremely careful, ready for possible evacuation and follow the instructions of local authorities in case of an emergency,” the Russian Consulate General in Antalya said on the website.

Hotel guests in a number of local resorts in Turkey were previously evacuated due to forest fires.

According to the latest data, as a result of the fire in Antalya, 183 people were injured, three more were killed.

The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey Bekir Pakdemirli previously noted an improvement in the situation with forest fires, 57 fires were localized.
