Approximately 1100 visitors are expected to sit in the stands every day to watch paddle matches at the elite level.

Players from both Europe and the American continents will compete against each other in the world's largest paddle tournament to date.

In the video, you see paddle played inside Center Court in Båstad and hear voices from visitors on site.

- This is big for Swedish paddle.

Especially down here in Skåne where the paddle first gained momentum in Sweden, says Gustaf Straht, communications manager for the tournament.

All visitors have been allocated a seat ticket to be able to keep their distance from the stands.

"The capital of racket sports"

The head of tourism, Annika Borgerlin, is positive that the paddle tournament is being held in Båstad.

- It's super cool.

It is often said that we are the mecca of tennis and now it is fun that we can take the grip of paddle and maybe become the "capital of racket sports", she says.

How do you view the security of the coronavirus?

- The organizer has planned for it and it was handled very well.

You are good at keeping your distance even if there are a lot of people on the move, says Annika Borgerlin.
