At four o'clock yesterday afternoon, the Palestinian woman, Walaa Azaiza, who is a mother of two children, came to life again, after she underwent surgery at Rambam Hospital in the Palestinian city of Haifa, to transplant a kidney that arrived directly from the United Arab Emirates.

The UAE sent the donated kidney directly from the city of Abu Dhabi to Rambam Hospital, which arrived at the hospital's headquarters last Thursday evening, to perform the surgery, which lasted two continuous hours, half an hour after the arrival of the kidney.

After the success of the operation, Walaa Azayza, a resident of the village of Daburiya in the Palestinian Galilee, the mother's suffering ended after a long struggle with illness and being away from caring for her two children for more than five years.

The UAE donated the kidney to the Palestinian mother, Aziza, while she was lying in the kidney department at Rambam Hospital in Haifa, in addition to her need for dialysis more than once a week.

The Department of Nephrology at Rambam Hospital in Haifa stated that the kidney that was successfully transplanted to the Palestinian mother, Walaa Azayza, was brought from Abu Dhabi city, and it was suitable for the body of the sick mother, and conformed to all the medical examinations conducted for the Palestinian woman.
