Race against time

The teams of paleontologist Jorge Calvo have already started studying these fossils to determine whether this individual was a companion or a descendant of the first Futalognkosaurus discovered in 2000.

Scientists have mainly started a race against time to find the remains of this dinosaur.

They were indeed found thanks to the drop in the level of Lake Los Barreales, and should be submerged again in the next month.
