The US National Public Radio said that the Israeli company "NSO" (NSO), the designer of the electronic spying program "Pegasus", has temporarily prevented many governments around the world from using its technology.

The radio quoted a source within the Israeli company that it had suspended cooperation until the end of its investigation into the misuse of its technologies.

The source did not reveal to the American radio the names of the agencies or countries that the company stopped using its technologies.

It is noteworthy that the company has previously admitted that it has 60 clients in 40 countries, all of them are intelligence agencies, militaries and law enforcement agencies, and that it has suspended its cooperation with some of them.

The Washington Post reported that among those suspended were the Israeli company's technology, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and some government agencies in Mexico.

An international press investigation confirmed that the "Pegasus" software was used by several countries and regimes to spy on state leaders, journalists, dissidents and representatives of human rights institutions.
