The Blue House stated that with the spread of the new crown epidemic, video reunion is the most effective method that can be implemented immediately.

On April 3, 2019, local time, the staff of the Korean Red Cross Building in Seoul, South Korea repaired the video call room for the separated families of South Korea and North Korea.
