The General Administration of the Republic of Adygea of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs previously announced that the murder occurred on the night of July 21.
According to the investigation, the perpetrator entered the greenhouse area and tried to snatch money from the person in charge. After killing the person in charge, the suspect snatched about 4 million rubles (approximately US$54,500).
According to information released by the Ministry of the Interior, the dead were a 56-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman, both of whom were foreign citizens and their status in Russia complied with immigration regulations.
Sources from law enforcement agencies told the media that the deceased was a Chinese citizen who was engaged in agricultural activities in the local area.
According to media reports, the suspect may be a citizen of a Central Asian country and has been detained in Rostov Oblast and Krasnadar Territory.
