"Taking into account the general military planning of NATO, which is increasingly being sharpened to counter the so-called threat from the east, such exercises cannot but cause legitimate concern in us," Grushko quoted TASS as saying.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that Moscow is closely following the exercises and is ready to take all the necessary measures: "Including a military-technical nature in order to reliably ensure our interests."
