While the government seemed to bury its pension reform, at least before the end of Emmanuel Macron's five-year term, Yves Veyrier, secretary general of Force Ouvrière, very opposed to the project, refuses to ignite.

"If the subject should come back, he will find us on his way," he said Friday on Europe 1.

The end of the five-year term is approaching, and it is becoming more and more unlikely to see a pension reform succeed before the deadline.

The government does not hide the fact that it will be complicated to carry out this reform in the allotted time, even if Emmanuel Macron has recently provided some leads, in particular the lowering of the retirement age.

A buried reform therefore, but its opponents remain cautious.

"Me, you know, I am always on my guard," warned Yves Veyrier, general secretary of Force Ouvrière, on Europe 1 on Friday.
