Due to the large spread of infection, Norrbotten has previously been seen as an orange region in Norway, which means that it has been limited who can travel to and from Norway.

But now the Norwegian government announces that the county is counted as green.

New rules from Monday

The new changes mean that Norrbotten residents can travel in and out of Norway.

There are no longer any requirements for testing before entering the country and no quarantine is required.

However, you must fill in a registration form and test yourself at the border upon arrival.

This also applies if you have been fully vaccinated or have undergone covid-19 in the past six months.

The changes take effect from midnight, ie the night before Monday the second of August.
