The decline in the number of infected people in the county in recent weeks has now led to the Norwegian government counting Värmland as a green region.

This now opens up for entries into the country, without quarantine.

After the large spread of infection with the delta variant of Covid-19 in June, Värmland was one of only two regions in Sweden that were marked red or orange, which meant that a ten-day quarantine was required if you traveled to Norway without being fully vaccinated.

The new entry rules will take effect on Monday 2 August.
