Because she threatened politicians and prepared an arson attack, a right-wing terrorist from Franconia is expected to have to be jailed for six years.

The Munich Higher Regional Court decided on Friday.

The court saw it as proven that Susanne G. had sent a condolence card to the district administrator of the district of Nürnberger Land in December 2019, in which she threatened to kill the district administrator.

The court is convinced that the defendant sent five further threatening letters, including to a mosque association and a refugee aid association, enclosing ammunition with each of these letters. She also bought the book "Die Autobombe" with corresponding building instructions. Eventually she obtained the material to build a gasoline hand bomb that she would use to carry out an attack on public officials and Muslims. The woman had the material to hand in her vehicle.

In favor of the accused, the court found that she did not have a criminal record. At their expense, the chamber valued, among other things, the criminal energy as well as the racist, xenophobic and anti-Semitic attitudes. In addition, the threatening letters had a massive impact on the family. After all, the serious criminal offense dangerous to the state was well advanced in preparation. The verdict is not yet legally binding.
