China News Agency, Berlin, July 30 (Reporter Peng Dawei) In response to multiple flights departing from Frankfurt to China delayed for more than 2 days or even cancelled, the Chinese Embassy in Germany issued a reminder on the recent delays and cancellations of flights to China on the 29th. The affected passengers are urged to contact the airline company as soon as possible to discuss changes, refunds and other matters, and pay attention to re-test and re-apply for the health code.

The Chinese Embassy in Germany stated that recently, due to frequent extreme weather and adjustments to epidemic prevention policies in many places, the normal operation of German flights to China has been affected.

Multiple flights from Frankfurt to China were delayed for more than 2 days or even cancelled.

According to Lufthansa WeChat public account, the LH780 (Frankfurt-Nanjing) on August 1 and 8 and the LH781 (Nanjing-Frankfurt) on August 3 and 10 have been cancelled.

The embassy reminded that in case of flight changes, passengers are advised to contact the airline company as soon as possible to negotiate changes and refunds.

If the latest departure time exceeds the valid time specified for the double inspection, be sure to re-test and apply for the health code again.

Regarding the re-testing of passengers after some flights have been postponed, the Chinese Consulate General in Frankfurt also issued an emergency reminder: The requirement for double testing within 48 hours before departure remains unchanged.

If you take a replacement flight, the health code will expire by then, and you must retest and apply for a health code.

For example, if you plan to take a replacement flight on July 28, you need to do a double test and apply for a health code on any day between July 26 and 28; if you plan to take a replacement flight on July 29, you need to do it on July 27 to 29 Do a double test and apply for a health code on any day in between.

The Chinese Embassy in Germany once again reminded citizens in Germany that during the epidemic period, they should continue to follow the principle of "non-urgent, non-essential, and no travel" and properly arrange international travel to avoid potential safety hazards and economic losses.
