Five young men, including two minors, were indicted for intentional homicide and imprisoned in the investigation of a man beaten to death in broad daylight in the metropolis of Rennes, we learned Friday from the prosecution.

A criminal investigation was entrusted by the Rennes prosecutor's office to the departmental security "which mobilized a large number of investigators on this investigation," Rennes prosecutor Philippe Astruc told AFP.

Criminal judicial information was opened to an investigating judge under the qualification of intentional homicide.

The prosecution had requested their placement in pre-trial detention.

A "colorful and musical peaceful march in tribute to Wilhem Houssin" is scheduled for Saturday morning in Vezin-le-Coquet, near Rennes, the victim's brother announced on Facebook.
