200 lambs perish in a fire in a farm in Haute-Provence

Two hundred lambs and protection dogs perished in the flames of a violent fire on Wednesday evening on the farm of a couple of breeders settled in the town of Ubaye-Serre-Ponçon, reports

Agricultural machinery and 1,000 bundles of fodder provisioned for the return of their adult herds to the pastures were also destroyed in the fire.

Thirty firefighters were mobilized to the scene of the disaster, the gendarmerie is now trying to determine the causes.
