- Today has two hundred and fifty visitors.

In previous years, we had over seven hundred people in one day in July, says Maaike Ulfvebrand, who is operations manager at Sala silver mine.

Last year it was closed, and despite contributions from Sala municipality, being able to reopen means a lot to the economy.

But it is a cautious investment.

- Due to corona, we have chosen to limit operations perhaps more than what the Public Health Agency says, and we have a third of maximum capacity, says Maaike Ulfvebrand.
